BS EN ISO 9001:2000

Registration of The Tintometer Limited is carried out by SGS Yarsley ICS.

Scope of accreditation:

Design and manufacture of colour measuring equipment, colour analysis kits and optical cells.

International Standard BS EN ISO 9001:2000 demonstrates that we have the capability to design, develop and supply products that meet the required performance criteria. The standard is aimed primarily in achieving customer satisfaction and will give our customers confidence in our ability to fulfill their requirements. Also, as a company with an approved ISO 9001 quality system, Tintometer Ltd can now offer a design and development service to customers.

BS EN ISO/IEC 17025

Registration of The Tintometer Limited is carried out by the United Kingdom Accreditation service.

Tintometer Calibration Laboratory scope of accreditation:

• Glass and liquid colour reference materials

• Spectral transmittance 380nm to 780nm

• CIE tristimulus values derived from spectral transmittance data

• UCS Judd rg b derivedc from CIE tristimulus values

• ASTM color

• Saybolt Color

Tintometer Ltd was awarded UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service, formally NAMAS) accreditation as a calibration laboratory in 1999. As a result, we are able to supply traceable transmittance values and CIE measurements for light transmitting objects as well as glass filters (for Lovibond^® instruments or otherwise) with traceable colour measurements.

• UKAS accreditation is visible proof that Tintometer Ltd has been thoroughly audited against recognised international standards by an independent team of expert auditors.

• It gives assurance that measurements are valid and directly traceable to national standards.

• It allows the company to sell calibration services throughout the world that are recognised and accepted internationally.
