Tintometer Ltd hosts Regional Sales & Service Training in Bangkok

Specialist staff from the Sales & Marketing and Servicing sectors of Tintometer Ltd UK hosted regional training for distributors in Bangkok, Thailand from Monday 2nd until Wednesday 4th October 2006. Marke Reid - General Manager; Colour, Nick Barnes - Technical Manager and UK servicing engineers provided full training on new and existing Lovibond^® products over the three day course which took place in the cultural and business centre of Bangkok.

Tintometer Ltd exhibits at Oils & Fats International Asia 2006

Tintometer Ltd once again exhibited their full range of transmittance colour measuring systems at the Oils & Fats International Asia exhibition at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 12th - 14th September 2006. Held in conjunction with the Malaysian Oil Scientists’ and Technologists’ Association (MOSTA) and incorporating the Oils and Fats International Congress (OFIC) this event was a prestigious, highly established exhibition dedicated to the Asian edible Oils & Fats market.

Tintometer Ltd UK - Specialist Customer Service Teams formed

Tintometer Ltd UK continues to strengthen and expand with the formation of a diverse and focused management structure and three new Customer Service teams, created to provide full support to distributors and customers throughout the world. A highly efficient office sales force is now in place at UK headquarters and specialist backup teams provide additional assistance with publicity, promotional and advertising activities. The Technical department has also undergone considerable improvement with a new Research and Development grouping incorporating the Colour Laboratory service which includes a specialised range of liquid reference standards. This is a market which is experiencing considerable growth as customers recognise the convenience of readily verifying measurement results.

Tintometer Ltd launches ColorPod handheld photometers

Tintometer Ltd has launched two new products set to provide the ultimate in convenience and simplicity to the brewing and honey industries. The EBC and Honey ColorPods are handy portable photometers for the analysis of Pfund units (for honey) and EBC Units (for brewing). Both are based on proven technology that has been utilised successfully in the water industry for a number of years and provide an economical, fast way of taking accurate colour measurements.

Tintometer Ltd attends ACHEMA Exhibition: 15th to 19th May 2006. Frankfurt

Tintometer Ltd attended the ACHEMA 28th International Exhibition - Congress on chemical engineering, environmental protection & biotechnology in Frankfurt this month. Tintometer GmbH was located in hall 6.1 on stand F29-G30 exhibiting the full range of colour measuring systems until 19th May 2006.

Tintometer Ltd attends Analytica Exhibition: 25th to 28th April 2006. Munich

Tintometer Ltd successfully exhibited their full range of transmittance and reflectance colour measuring systems at the 20th international trade fair for marketable solutions in the analytics and laboratory industry. Tintometer GmbH were on stand B1.400 from 25th to 28th April 2006 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre

ANALYTICA 2006 featured a number of international events for building business relations. They included the Analytica Forum, a platform for the exchange of information and transfer of knowledge, and the Analytica Conference, the European summit for the international research community. Every two years Analytica is the international meeting place for specialists from the areas of environmental, foodstuffs and industrial analysis, biochemistry, biotechnology, genetic engineering, molecular and cell biology. As the largest and most important European trade fair with congress of its kind, Analytica regularly brings together scientists, industry and users.

Tintometer Ltd launch new 5¹/₄ inch polystyrene cell

For those applications which require throwaway cells, or for companies handling particularly viscous materials that are difficult to clean out of the traditional glass cell, Tintometer Ltd can now offer a 5¹/₄ inch plastic cell, sold in packs of 28.

The maximum temperature of the new polystyrene cells is 80 degrees C although special PC Polycarbonate cells can be ordered which are heat resistant up to 133 degrees C. The new cells are ideally suited for the measurement of alcohols, mineral oils and vegetable oils.

Tintometer Ltd relocation a success

Following the successful union with German sister company Tintometer GmbH, the new Tintometer Ltd Group continues to grow in the UK and Europe. UK operations, successfully relocated to new premises on a purpose built business complex at the start of the year.

Lovibond House has modern office, production and warehousing facilities with direct links to London Heathrow, Southampton, Bournemouth and Bristol airports which all offer UK and international flights and are all within a 60 to 90 minute drive. Both Salisbury and Andover have fast rail links to London and to the rest of the UK..
