Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen Peroxide is a powerful chemical oxidant which is used for a wide number of applications in treating effluents. It is used to destroy toxic substances such as Cyanide, Sulphide and Phenols. Another application is in the micro-electronics industry as a slime preventative in water pipelines used in the rinsing programme. It is also used in the sterilization of blow moulded plastic cartons for the packaging of milk and fruit juices.
