DPD No.4 is used as an indicator for pool hygiene. It is used to determine the total chlorine content as part of the DPD method. The tablet is dissolved in the water sample. The measurement is then taken immediately. DPD No. 4 Nessler tablets are mainly used for colorimetric measurements, especially with the Nessleriser system in comparators.
