Chlorine dioxide (ClO2) kills microorganisms in the water and has a stronger disinfection effect against germs, viruses, bacteria, fungi and algae than the most commonly used chlorine. Legionella are also reliably removed.
In addition, there is the gradual degradation effect on the biofilm as a breeding ground for legionella even at low doses.
The disinfection effect of chlorine dioxide is also almost independent of the pH value. It does not form chloramines and is largely odourless and tasteless.
