Chlore
Le chlore est le produit désinfectant le plus utilisé et le plus répandu. La chloration des systèmes de distribution d'eau, des piscines et des tours de refroidissement ne sont que quelques applications quotidiennes.

Le chlore libre (acide hypochloreux) réagit avec l’ammoniac et différents composés d'azote pour former du chlore combiné. Il réagit avec l’ammoniac pour former les chloramines qui ont un très faible effet désinfectant. Il est donc important de procéder à une détermination différenciée du chlore.

La DPD (diéthyl-p-phénylènediamine) est le réactif préféré pour déterminer le chlore libre, combiné et le chlore total. Il est proposé sous forme de pastilles, de réactifs liquides et de poudre. Vous trouverez ci-dessous une liste des appareils de mesure et des kits d’analyse pertinents.

Le chlore total peut être également déterminé à l'aide d’un réactif d’iodate de potassium. Il peut être déterminé jusqu’à des concentrations de max. 300 mg/L de chlore et est souvent utilisé dans la fabrication alimentaire et dans le traitement des eaux industrielles.
