Disinfection Control

Disinfection is usually the final stage of the treatment process for drinking water or wastewater, and may be the most important.
The goal of disinfection is to control a variety of pathogenic organisms, including those that cause cholera, typhoid, hepatitis as well as a number of other bacterial, viral and parasitic diseases.
Methods of disinfection differ around the world. Popular methods include chlorination, ultra violet (UV) light and ozonating.
